SiFu Shaun Amps
Sifu Shaun Amps first became interested in Martial arts back in 1980 and started to train in Shotokan Karate, but after four months his interest wained. It wasn't until 1986 when he joined a Tae Kwon Do club that he had any further exposure to martial arts. Unfortunately the club closed after 8 months and it was another 6 years before Shaun found his true vocation in Chien Chuan Kung-Fu in 1992. After five years of hard training Shaun gained all nine grades and the black sash master grade. In order to gain wider knowledge of Martial arts he trained in the art of Lau Gar Kung-Fu under Sifu Alex Barrowman and graded to Blue belt.
He is also training in a Russian fighting style called Systema with Robert Pointon.

At present Sifu is continuing to perfect his Chien Chuan style and is an excellent instructor of the juniors and the seniors, and as such he commands the respect of both.
